What is Malocclusion?
Misalignment of teeth when the jaws are closed, commonly called a 'bad bite'.
Malocclusion refers to the misalignment of teeth or incorrect relation between the upper and lower teeth when they come together. Types include overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite. Malocclusion can cause difficulty chewing, speech problems, and increased wear on teeth.
